BEWARE, THEY WILL OVERCHARGE YOU!! I recently went in to have my brakes checked. I made an appointment for 8am which is when they were set to open. At 8:10 doors were finally opened. I was finally greated around 8:30 . I was told the computer system was down , eventually helped at 9:30. I was told all my rotors and break pads needed replaced. I was given a total price but not shown the price breakdown until after i made my payment and received my receipt. Mind you this was due to computer issues. I gave 2 stars because im happy with break repair. However when I received my receipt the labor was lsited as $450. They clearly have a sign on the counter that says there hourly rate is $140. It took less than an hour to replace my breaks!! I can understand a little more but not more than 3 times!!! I do not recommend them as they seem to be overcharging clients.

This review refers specifically to the North Elston shop; nothing against any of the others, but I have no familiarity with them. However, if I were to have an auto issue out of town, I would absolutely take my car to the nearest Pep Boys based solely off the trust in the brand this particular Pep Boys has given me. They have always been honest and extremely professional. I don’t know a ton about cars (I’m better with human bodies 😂), and they explain things in ways I understand but also have NEVER attempted to take advantage of me because of that. They’re also very transparent about pricing, so I’ve never had any surprises…other than the plethora of issues my last car gave me. 😒 I’ve been enjoying the fact that my current vehicle has been operating exactly as intended since I got it new, but it was time for maintenance. It had been awhile since I had needed the services of a Pep Boys and I was delighted to see last Friday, when I brought it in for an oil change, that this location was exactly as I’d remembered it. Everyone was so pleasant and helpful. Please feel free to give all the employees massive raises there for their customer service.

Everything was fast and high-quality. I had an oil change. My appointment was at 9 AM, and by 10 I already had my car back. I recommend this place 👍

I recently had a very disappointing experience at Pep Boys while getting my oil change, and I feel compelled to share my frustration. I have been waiting for over two hours, and the lack of service is simply unacceptable. I expected a straightforward process, but it seems that the staff is either overwhelmed or not properly trained to handle basic services like an oil change. Communication has been poor; I haven't received any updates on the status of my vehicle, which only adds to my frustration. I cannot believe the level of service I have encountered here. I strongly advise against choosing Pep Boys for your automotive needs. There are many other places that value their customers and provide timely and efficient service. This experience has left me extremely dissatisfied, and I will not be returning. & THE BATHROOMS ARE SO DISGUSTING!!!!!
