Chicago Building Inspections

Fantastic! Chicago Building Inspections is the real deal. Molly, who runs the office, is professional and caring. Our inspector, Ken Whitelaw, was absolutely incredible. He is beyond thorough, safety-focused, communicates well, and really knows what he's doing. I would recommend Chicago Building Inspections to anyone who is in the home buying process.

Ken Whitelaw from Chicago Building Inspections was highly recommended to me. He was meticulous in his inspection. I have never seen anyone so thorough. He is also pleasant and personable. He will uncover everything so you have no surprises!

We had an excellent experience with Chicago Building Inspections! The team was friendly, punctual, and incredibly thorough. They turned around the report quickly, and it was one of the most organized and user-friendly reports I’ve ever seen. The color coordination, clear photos, and straightforward layout made it so easy to understand, especially helpful for someone like me! Highly recommend their services to anyone needing a smooth and professional inspection process.

Chicago Building Inspections is fantastic. I have worked with Ross, the owner, three times now, and I have been so impressed by their thoroughness, their quick responses to questions and the kindness shown by Ross and another inspector, Scott Smith. They are super knowledgable, very helpful and scheduling is a breeze. This is not a "skim the surface" inspection; they will tell you what you need to know to feel confident buying/fixing/updating your home.

I was recommended CBI for a single family home inspection by a friend and couldn't be happier with all their help and guidance. I had Ken & Ross and they were extremely knowledgeable, detail-oriented, professional and kind. As a first time homeowner, they explained everything to me and made me feel so comfortable to ask any question I had. The report was detailed, in easy terms to understand and the turn around time was quick. I could not recommend them enough!
